No phone
Dead battery, lost phone or no device to open the banking app.
ResQPay is building the emergency access layer that helps people pay for urgent needs when normal banking, cards, cash, phones or internet access fail.
People may have money in a bank or wallet, but an emergency creates a different problem: access, authentication, connectivity and trust.
Dead battery, lost phone or no device to open the banking app.
Mobile banking and app-based payment journeys become unavailable.
ATM, cash and conventional card acceptance are unavailable at the point of need.
A hospital, pharmacy, ambulance, mechanic or trusted provider needs payment now.
Customer needs urgent help.
Approved provider creates a request.
Identity, limits and provider are checked.
Risk engine decides if it can proceed.
Regulated partner executes payment.
Transaction is logged and settled.
ResQPay does not need to recreate Pakistan's payment rails. It orchestrates the access, authorization and emergency-provider experience above regulated infrastructure.
Before an emergency happens, the customer defines what ResQPay may help authorize and under which conditions.
ResQPay can enable members to contribute small amounts into a separately governed emergency assistance pool. When an eligible emergency is verified, assistance can be routed directly to an approved provider.
Proposed ResQPay Emergency Biometric Terminal (EBT) gives approved emergency providers a cardless acceptance option for customers who cannot use their phone or card.
A biometric terminal can become the physical acceptance layer for hospitals, pharmacies, rescue points, roadside providers and other high-urgency locations — without requiring a conventional card swipe.
Emergency treatment, diagnostics and deposits.
Urgent medication and prescription fulfilment.
Emergency transport and response.
Fuel, towing, repair and roadside support.
Emergency rides and intercity transport.
Emergency accommodation and safe stays.
ResQPay sits one layer above payment rails and focuses on emergency authorization, trusted providers and cross-provider orchestration.
The base case deliberately avoids depending on transaction fees alone. Membership and institutional/API revenue become the margin engine as the network scales.
Emergency authorization, payment orchestration, provider network and no customer-fund custody.
MVP → PilotBenevolent fund with compliant governance, enterprise APIs and insurance/takaful partner distribution.
Scale → InstitutionalDeploy biometric emergency terminals across high-urgency provider categories.
Network → NationalEvaluate EMI/PSP participation and other regulated structures only when scale and economics justify them.
Optional → StrategicMilestone-based seed / pre-Series A to prove regulatory, product and commercial assumptions.
ResQPay is designed as a partner-led fintech: customer funds remain with regulated institutions; identity verification uses authorized services; insurance/takaful remains with licensed providers.
We are looking for strategic investors, banks/EMIs, emergency providers, technology partners and insurance/takaful partners.
